For many years we have been ordering food items from Best Value for the Partners for Youth for the Snackpack program for the Mathews County Middle School and Headstart program. During the school year we order, pack and deliver food items that are sent home with students who need the guarantee of food for the weekend.

It has been our pleasure to work with Steve Wiseman and the staff at Best Value, and in the past two years with Mr. Sterling Hudgins. They readily accepted our orders, loaded the items on our trucks and provided these items at cost.

Therefore, it is with much gratitude and appreciation that we thank Mr. Wiseman, Mr. Hudgins and the staff for making it possible for us and this community to provide this safety net for our children, assuring them of the best outcome possible for their education. Without proper nutrition, students may not be adequately prepared to achieve their optimal educational experience.
