President Trump is a ticking time bomb.
No Republican dares stand up to him. Not when he creates an “economic state of emergency” to justify setting tariffs (though the Constitution gives Congress the sole power to set tariffs) or when he slaps a 10 percent tariff on Canada just because they air an ad he doesn’t like; not when he authorizes the bombing of boats in international waters, killing 43 people to date, with no evidence that they were drug smugglers; not when he bulldozes the entire East Wing of the White House to build a $250 million, 90,000-square-foot ballroom, all while the government is shut down and SNAP benefits are being cut; not when he agrees to bail out Argentina to the tune of $200 billion but denies aid to areas in North Carolian that were devasted by Hurricane Helene; not when he pardons George Santos or all those convicted in the January 6 events or the founder of Binance who just happens to have ties to the Trump family’s crypto venture...
