Letter: A thank you from the homeless pets

On Saturday, Nov. 16, Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society supporters gathered for our annual oyster roast. Undeterred by chilly temps and buffeting winds, our guests’ benevolence and warmth of spirit made the 2019 event our most successful oyster roast to date. 

GMHS and our Fixin’ to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic rely heavily upon the charity of private individuals and foundations to fund our life-saving mission, and the generous contributions of oyster roast guests bring GMHS one step closer to being able to provide much-needed dental services for the homeless pets in our care. Our ability to deliver such care in-house will promote pets’ overall health and well-being and remove a barrier to adoption, and we are humbled by your support.
