On behalf of the entire Guinea Jubilee Committee, we would like to thank everyone who came together to make the 39th Annual Guinea Jubilee a success!

Despite all of the rain in the last several weeks, the skies cleared on Friday afternoon and we ended up with beautiful late-September weather. The wet grounds required a great deal of logistical effort to get everyone in their spots with merchandise displayed while not ruining the Ruritan festival grounds. Our vendors were incredibly understanding, and our committee members and Gloucester CERT volunteers came together to help everyone get where they needed to be.

We owe a special thank you to Middle Peninsula Golf Carts for their last-minute loaner of golf carts to help with set up. We would be remiss in not giving another special shout out to Chesapeake Bank, B&S Refuse, and all of the sponsors of this year’s festival!
