Letter: A successful resume

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

On Nov. 7, you will be deciding who will lead our county into the future. Will it be someone who bankrupted himself seven times? Will it be someone who never held public office and recently moved here from California and who does not understand what assessments are? Or will it be someone who first came to a job with prior county experience, a former chairman of the Planning Commission and with a successful professional experience as a finance executive and professor?

For me, the choice is clear. Phil Bazzani is the best choice. He used and applied his experience on day one in office. He was already way down the learning curve. He did not need on-the-job training. Over the last four years he was instrumental in spending our tax dollars fairly and wisely and keeping our taxes low. As far as I can recall, we never had someone with this kind of experience on past boards. It is the kind of experience I want to serve again.

There is no time to come down a learning...
