Letter: A special day

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Do you ever have one of those days when everything goes so right, you wish you could relive it? For me, this last Saturday was one of those days. It was the Gloucester Farmers’ Market. The event took place on the grounds of the Historic Ware Church.

Prior to and on the day of the event, we had a wonderful group of volunteers from the church and wider community, including our four scout groups and their leaders. We had 2,148 people visiting a wide variety of our 55 vendors: i.e., produce, crafts, flowers, and edibles. There was also an offering of outside yoga or later a community hymn singalong in the church.

This was indeed a special day! We hope you share that feeling and can join us next month, June 10 from 9 to 1.
