Greetings from the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. I am writing to share that I will be attending the upcoming College, Career & Resource Fair on October 9 at Gloucester High School. I’m excited because I am a 2003 graduate of GHS.
At the event, I will be representing the Community Foundation. We are Southeastern Virginia’s largest scholarship provider. Thanks to generous donors, we have awarded more than $23 million to students across Hampton Roads and the Peninsula. One of these generous donors is the late Ellis W. Rowe. She set up a scholarship for students from Gloucester County in need of financial assistance for undergraduate and graduate studies. This scholarship has awarded more than $1 million to students over the years.
