Editor, Gazette-Journal:

July 13 was a special day at Riverside Convalescent Center in Mathews. A wonderful team of adults and young people visited us and our residents painted rocks. When I told our residents we were going to paint rocks today, they just looked at me.

They think I am a bit crazy anyway, but telling them we will be painting rocks proved it. Then Gloucester Rocks arrived and validated my story. Our residents had a wonderful time and this team of great folks left Mathews a bit heavier than it was before.
