Editor, Gazette-Journal:

"Letters to the Editor should not exceed 200 words." March 24th had six letters with the following number of words: 433, 576, 415, 374, 334 and 576. I did not read the letters, I just counted the words. If I want to read a book, I will go to the library.

David Crockett

Mathews, Va.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Mr. Crockett, thank you for your brief comments. We often hold longer letters until space is available.
