Editor, Gazette-Journal:

After attending the Mathews County Triad’s 18th Annual Senior Safety Fair, I realized what an interesting, informative and great event I had been missing each year previously.

I was totally impressed by the superb organization of Lt. Foster and Alice Stewart and their teams who amassed such an extensive coverage of available resources for seniors. Their time, effort and planning of diverse speakers and booths was greatly appreciated—as were all those volunteers who dispensed so much valuable information (not forgetting the generously donated numerous, fun door prizes).

Yes—a great day, including individual medical help from Dr. Hospodar, and discovering a small windfall through the Virginia Unclaimed Property booth.
