Editor, Gazette-Journal:

To quote Barack Obama on Oct. 30, 2008, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

A few months earlier, May 14, 2008, Michelle Obama said “We are going to have to change our conversations. We are going to have to change our traditions, our history. We’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation.”

Is there any doubt in your mind the Obamas are working to move the United States of America into a government of dependency for all individuals, transforming us from a nation of immigrants and Americans who came here to acquire self-sufficiency without the jaundiced threats from an all-powerful government?

The taxes in our health care program, to exempt senators, Congressmen and, just as importantly, their staff members, from the health care law and the self-mandated edict by the President of the United States, without regard to the Congress of the United States or our citizens. Exempting certain components of our population from the law without counsel from the courts or the Congress is indefensible by any reasonable interpretation or application of the law and executive prerogative.

Dear friends, yes, we are kicking and screaming and fighting for the American way with a valid representation of the great citizens of our nation. Join the fight to defeat Terry McAuliffe on Nov. 5. He is simply a puppet and an agent of the Obama/Hillary Clinton conspiracy to dig into the roots of a great commonwealth that has been traditionally very independent in our history, with support not for a party, but the integrity and qualifications of a potential office holder.
