Editor, Gazette-Journal:

To quote Barack Obama on Oct. 30, 2008, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America."

A few months earlier, May 14, 2008, Michelle Obama said "We are going to have to change our conversations. We are going to have to change our traditions, our history. We’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

Is there any doubt in your mind the Obamas are working to move the United States of America into a government of dependency for all individuals, transforming us from a nation of immigrants and Americans who came here to acquire self-sufficiency without the jaundiced threats from an all-powerful government?
