As usual, there are so many people to thank for the success of the Food from the Heart events. First, thank you to U.S. Foods who sponsors this event each year. It was held June 30 at White Hall in Zanoni.
Thank you to all the wonderful chefs who volunteered their time and talent:
Chef Keyvan Benham of Lulu Birds Kitchen; Chef Eric Garcia of the Inn at Warner Hall; Chef Mark Letchworth of the Mathews Yacht Club; Chef Steve Perkins from Waypoint Seafood and Grill; Chef Tom Power of the Fat Canary; Executive Chef Bill Brooks from U.S. Foods with his team of chefs.
Then, of course, there are the fantastic volunteers from Abingdon Episcopal Church, St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church and Union Baptist Church.
