Letter: A crisis of leadership

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

We have a crisis of leadership in America, and our most important leader, President Obama, is more concerned with political posturing and imperial ruling, than with compromise. Even the most liberal reporter, Chris Matthews of MSNBC, stated that Barack Obama is no Ronald Reagan. Boy, that was an understatement!

Our president is content to force his vision of a "new America" on all of us. Never mind that now more than 50 percent of Americans do not share his vision of socialized medicine. Furthermore, this man is responsible for more of our national debt in just five years than any man in history. While many are stating that our debt to GDP ratio is down, what we are surely facing is a roughly $20 trillion national debt when Obama is thankfully gone on Jan. 20, 2017. When he leaves office, he will have created, with his redistributionist economic policies, a disaster that will be hard to overcome.
