Letter: A conservative viewpoint

There are many areas in the United States that require changes to make it the country that we, as conservatives, think it should be. Some of the most important are the economy, immigration, a military upgrade, Obamacare and our foreign policy, especially the Middle East.

These deficiencies were created by almost eight years of a weak and flawed Obama Administration that included four years of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. We all are aware of the lies and security problems affiliated with her e-mail situation.

A potential problem, created by the death of Justice Scalia, is the political make-up of the Supreme Court. If the Democrats gain control of the presidency and possibly the Senate, it will become very liberal for decades and possibly forever. The next four years may create two, three or four vacancies that Hillary Clinton, if elected, will fill with liberals. This scenario is unacceptable to me and all conservative Republicans.
