Letter: Some NGOs impede ICE

Editor, Gazette-Journal: The exceptionally long front-page article in last week’s paper (“Cobbs Creek resident sees first-hand result of ICE arrests,” April 9 Gazette-Journal) featuring a Cobbs Creek resident who expresses compassion and empathy for migrants caught up in our legal system; while deriding the lawful work of ICE, whose onerous job is to deport illegal migrants. The resident is a volunteer for Annunciation House whose headquarters is in El Paso, Texas. The Biden Administration—at the behest of the Democratic Party—inexplicably invited and allowed over 15 million people—from all over the world—to stream across our borders unabated. NGOs (non-government offices) facilitated their journeys, from their countries of origin to their distribution to cities throughout the United States. They murder American citizens, commit other horrendous crimes and acts of violence, and bilk American taxpayers out of millions, if not billions, of dollars.
