Many thanks to all who participated in the Meals on Wheels fundraiser last Thursday evening. It was a fun night and I enjoyed visiting with each of you. We had wonderful volunteers who gave so generously of their time and helped raise $2,760 for our Meals on Wheels program.
We prepare approximately 400 meals each week. I love this program and along with my staff take great pride in providing this service for the participating residents of Mathews County. My personal thanks to everyone who volunteered, purchased a meal or made a donation. You all help me do a good job!
