A graveside service with military honors for LeRoy D. Metz, 68, of Gloucester, was held at 11 a.m. Monday in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. He died April 16, 2013.

He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, and worked in civil service at Fort Eustis.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Metz; daughters, Michelle Brigance and Cheryl Ann Fryer; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
