Lendmark Financial Services, LLC, will open its first Gloucester office Friday in Fox Mill Centre, 6719 Fox Centre Parkway near Starbucks.

The Gloucester office will be the company’s 142nd location, said Debbie Rice, assistant vice president for the company’s Fredericksburg District. The company is expanding its operations in Virginia, she said, with plans to open an office this month in Winchester and one in Midlothian in April. Lendmark has 20 offices in Virginia, with the closest to Gloucester and Mathews being in Newport News, Hampton, Mechanicsville and Fredericksburg.

Lendmark handles personal loans, automobile loans, debt consolidation loans and merchant retail sales financing services, Rice said. She said Lendmark often makes loans to customers who have credit and income status that might not be suitable for a bank loan.
