Warner (D-Virginia), were among those in attendance last Wednesday morning for a legislative school tour in Mathews. Guests toured the middle school’s Career and Technical Education classrooms and received a presentation from transportation supervisor Clyde Royals on a bus fleet update and the challenges of meeting the commercial driver’s license requirements for bus drivers. In addition to the entire school board and division superintendent Nancy Welch, those in attendance also included Wittman’s District Director Joe Schumacher, Mike Hazlewood from the office of Del. Keith Hodges (R-Middlesex) and county supervisors Paul Hudgins, Dave Jones and Mike Walls.
