American Legion Post 75 and Zandler Development held a groundbreaking Oct. 5 for the new post headquarters being built by Zandler. The Gloucester High School NJROTC color guard participated and the ceremony drew about 80 people. Manning the shovels were, from left, Charles Records of Zandler Development, American Legion Riders Chapter 75 Director Kenneth Godfrey, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 75 President Julie Coates, American Legion Post 75 Commander Sue Brosemer, American Legion Department of Virginia Commander Thomas Queck, American Legion Department of Virginia Third District Commander Rick Ward, Joe Shine of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 75 and Keith Barrack of Zandler Development. The new building will be near the current Post 75 headquarters in Gloucester and is expected to be completed by March 2019.
