LEE STANLEY LINKOUS

A memorial service for Lee Stanley “Stan” Linkous, 76, of Hayes, was held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. He died Saturday, July 28, 2012.
 
He was formerly of Williamsburg. He served two years in the United States Army, and was later employed as a painter during the restoration of Colonial Williamsburg. He left CW to start his own business as a wallpaper hanger.  He was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose-Lodge 757.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Driskoll Lee Linkous and Willie Albirdia Linkous Kirby.
 
Survivors include daughters, Debbie L. Thomas, Karen L. Fuller, Catherine L. Blackwell; two sisters, Jean Hall and Brenda Norwood; six grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
 
The family received friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. prior to the service conducted by the Rev. Thomas Tipton.
