LAURA FRANCES DEAL ROTHENBUSH

Laura Frances Deal Rothenbush, 72, of Indianapolis, Ind., passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 24, 1942 in the Horse Point area of Guinea in Gloucester County to John William (Johnny) and Annie Pearl Belvin Deal.

She married Garold Ray (Gary/Bush) Rothenbush on Aug. 23, 1963 in Newport News, Va.

Frances was a longtime homemaker and loved her home and husband so very much. She suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for the past several years, and he so lovingly cared for her 24/7 and she died in his arms early Saturday morning.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Annie Deal; brothers, John William Deal, George W. (Monk) Deal, and Reuben Deal, and sister, Roselle Deal Clough.

Survivors include her husband, Bush and children, Donald Francis Tillage (Linda) of Gloucester, Va., Susanne M. Brown (David) of Indiana, and Garold Ray Rothenbush Jr. of Bloomington, Ind.; four grandchildren, Jason Tillage (Melissa), Nicholas Rothenbush, Logan and Collin Brown, and great-granddaughter, Alexis “Lexi” Tillage; brother, Kenneth Earl Deal (Barbara) of Florida, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including two special cousins, Nan (Nannie Mae) Belvin McComber and Vernetta (Netta) Belvin Coates.

Frances and Bush were devoted Christians in their local church in Franklin, Ind., and their brothers and sisters in Christ have been their devoted support all these years.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Swartz Mortuary and she was buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, Ind.
