The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, with guest speaker Robert Lumsden, author of the 2024 book, “Edward Dale of Lancaster County Virginia: Burgess, Major, Cavalier, Clerk & Justice of Court, Gentleman, Neighbor, Husband & Father.” The agenda will also include reports on LVHS activities, volunteer awards, and board elections.
The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 4 p.m. at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock. Optional $5 tickets will be sold at the door for the LVHS Fall 50-50 raffle. Reservations for in-person attendance are requested to 804-462-7280 or history@lancastervahistory.org.
