This year marks 20 years of business for Lamb Exterminating of Gloucester. Owner Chris Lamb said when he started the business it was just him working out of his garage. Today, Lamb has crews in Gloucester who provide service from Norfolk to New Kent, and he has a franchise location in Richmond.

Lamb said one thing that has allowed Lamb Exterminating to stand out for 20 years is its use of environmentally friendly products. He said being green has always been his niche. The plant-oil-based products are as effective as chemicals, he said, but can be used without any risk to the surrounding environment. This means he can use them around wells and waterways.

Along with pest control, Lamb’s services also include total moisture control. Crews can install water barriers and dehumidifiers and offer complete encapsulations.
