Lafayette talk

The Cricket Hill Chapter, National Society Daughters of the Revolution, welcomed Frances Lee Twigg Ellis to talk about the Marquis de Lafayette at its November meeting. Ellis, a 35-year member of the DAR, is also a member of the American Friends of Lafayette. She gave a brief talk on Lafayette’s early life and involvement in the American Revolutionary War and shared highlights of her recent trip to France. Members for their service project collected items for Hands Across Mathews. Ellis is shown above with Cricket Hill DAR Regent Lynda Lancaster-Loyd.
