The Cricket Hill Chapter, National Society Daughters of the Revolution, welcomed Frances Lee Twigg Ellis to talk about the Marquis de Lafayette at its November meeting. Ellis, a 35-year member of the DAR, is also a member of the American Friends of Lafayette. She gave a brief talk on Lafayette’s early life and involvement in the American Revolutionary War and shared highlights of her recent trip to France.
