The Gloucester High School varsity field hockey team defeated the York Falcons, 3-0, last Thursday on the road. Kenleigh Hall scored the first goal of the game in the second quarter. She was assisted by Ryleigh Rondeau and Addison Wymer. Madelyn Rowe and Jenna Seaton scored the next two goals. During the match, Gloucester recorded nine offensive corners to York’s four and made eight shots compared to York’s two. Rondeau, Wymer, Skylar Cox and Amelia Santiago led the defense. Goalkeeper Ellie Adams secured the shutout win by making two saves. The Lady Dukes will play away again tonight against Bruton, beginning at 7 o’clock, and Friday at 4 p.m. against Kellam. They will return home Tuesday to host the Poquoson Islanders, beginning at 7 p.m....
