Lady Dukes pick up two wins; fall to Bethel

The Gloucester High School girls’ varsity basketball team recently picked up two wins against Kecoughtan and Phoebus. The Lady Dukes traveled to Kecoughtan and beat them, 55-5, on Dec. 13. All 10 players put points on the board.

Lead scorers of the night were Cali Vickers with 12 points, Kenna Keyes with nine points and Lauren Hall and Maria Lisi each with seven points. Other scorers included Zebe Rhodes with six points, Kylie Fisk with five points, Cici Roye with three points and Cody Brown, Erin Bell and Marlo Jenkins all with two points.

The Lady Dukes had another successful night on Dec. 17 when they beat Phoebus, 56-34. Top scorers of the night were Keyes with 12 points, Hall with 11 points, Roye with eight points and Rhodes with seven points. Lisi also put six points on the board and Brown, Fisk and Vickers all earned four points each.
