Lady Dukes drop three

The Gloucester High School girls’ varsity basketball team fell to Heritage, Grafton and Menchville this week.

The Lady Dukes traveled to Heritage Friday night, losing 36-26. Top scorers were Zebe Rhodes with 11 points and Kenna Keyes with nine. Cici Roye also scored four points and Maria Lisi earned two. The Lady Dukes were only two points behind Heritage at halftime, 14-12, but could not catch them in the second half.

Gloucester met the same fate Monday night when the Lady Dukes traveled to Grafton, losing 58-43. Top scorers for Gloucester included Keyes who scored 13 points and Lisi who scored 10. Rhodes and Roye also earned six points for the team and Kylie Fisk scored four. Both Cody Brown and Lauren Hall earned two points apiece for the team.

The Lady Dukes suffered another tough loss when they hosted Menchville Tuesday night, falling 68-36. Top scorers of the evening were Keyes with 10 points and Fisk and Lisi with six points each. Other scorers were Erin Bell with five ...
