The Gloucester High School girls’ varsity basketball team defeated Denbigh during Friday night’s home match, 50-13.Leading the Lady Dukes to victory was Sydney Taylor who scored a total of 18 points for Gloucester. Other scorers included Cori Morgan with nine points, Bailey Wilson with five points, Gabby Davison and Nevaeh Najar with four points each, Amari Marsh and Joelle Forrest with three points apiece and Samantha Carlton and Rylie Williams with two points each.

The boys’ team did not fare as well against Denbigh, losing 57-42. Connor Brooks was the top scorer for the Dukes with a total of 19 points. Other scorers included Braden Hudgins with eight points, Bryce Monroe, Keith Hopkins and Alex Vanvrankin with four points each and Michael Fisk with three points.
