The undefeated Mathews High School varsity volleyball team picked up its 21st win of the season on Tuesday, sweeping West Point in three straight sets by scores of 25-9, 25-14 and 25-11. The team had a total of 16 aces, 23 kills, four blocks and only a few errors.

Mackenzie Moughon led the Devils in serving with nine aces, followed by Teeny Robbins with three, and Rachel Close, Hailey Abernathy, Whitney Eriksen, and Anna Hudgins with one each. Robbins dominated offensively, scoring five kills. Sisters Maddie and Kai McCann each added four kills, while Moughon and Close added three apiece and Hannah Rowe, Kacie Austin, Amber Burruss and Hudgins each contributed one kill. Shelby Ware topped the team in assists with 18, while Jackie Stewart had four.
