Kraken falls in doubleheader

The Baystars Kraken 10U baseball team hosted the Five Star Mafia 10U on Sunday in a doubleheader at Ark Park. The Kraken lost both games against the traveling team, 20-9 and 3-2.

In the first game, the Kraken lost the lead late in the fifth in the 20-9 defeat. William Rousseau crossed home plate three times in the loss. Easton Scott and Benjamin Patterson had two runs each while Jayden Webb and Carter Symonds had one run each.

In the second game, the Kraken couldn’t mount a comeback after surrendering the lead off an error in the fifth. The game was tied, 2-2, going into the bottom of the fifth, when an error scored one run for Five Star Mafia. The two runs were both scored by Scott.
