The King & Queen County Sheriff’s Office will participate in National Night Out. This year’s event will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 2, with the following Tuesday, Aug. 9 reserved as a rain date.
The program will be held at the Upper King & Queen Ruritan Club building, Walnut Spring Road, St. Stephens Church.National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live, according to the National Night Out website, natw.org.
