BIBIMBAP

1 bowl cooked rice

6 or 7 lettuce leaves

½ medium cucumber, sliced

1 c. mushroom of choice

¼ carrot

¼ zucchini

Sauce

2½ tsp. chili paste, Korean if you can get it

1 tsp. soy sauce

3 tsp. water

1 tsp. olive oil

½ tsp. minced garlic

Wash lettuce then let it soak in cold water until ready to use. Slice cucumber and soak it in saltwater until ready to use. Thinly slice carrot, zucchini and lettuce and chop mushrooms into small pieces: Salt and fry. Drain the cucumbers and fry on high heat. Place the vegetables in a bowl. Prepare the sauce by mixing all ingredients together in a separate bowl. Place the rice in separate bowl and add the vegetables. And then add chili-paste sauce. If desired add a dab of sesame oil.

 

BULGOGI

Sauce

2 Tbs. soy sauce

1-2 Tbs. sugar

1Tbs. sesame oil

1 clove garlic, minced

¼ tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients together and set aside. Then begin to make the dish.
