Knights take on Tri-City Hurricanes

The Knights of the Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League took on the Tri-City Hurricanes last Saturday.

The Mighty Mites were unable to weather the Hurricanes’ offense, falling 26-6. Head coach Damion Stokes said the offense was led by Durrell Daisy who rushed for 96 yards on nine carries and scored the lone touchdown for the Knights.

The MVP on defense was Tyrell Daisy who recorded seven tackles and one interception.

Cheerleaders

The Minis cheerleader named Most Spirited was Taneall Kee and Best Technique was given to Skylar Smith.

The Mites cheerleaders given Most Spirited was Aubree Belvin and Best Technique went to Laici Willet.

The Mighty Mites cheerleader named Most Spirited was Alexis Smith and Best Technique was awarded to Faith Belvin.

The Midgets cheerleader named Most Spirited was Tandy Pelfrey and Best Technique was awarded to Emma Specht.
