The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League Knights took on the Peninsula Panthers over the weekend. The 6U Knights fell to the Panthers, 2-0. Notable players were Elliot Rosario and Ellie Howard. The 12U Knights also lost to the Panthers, 32-0. Trace Rasmussen completed three passes to Dreyden Pluim, Evan Horceak and Cayden Mayer. Wesley Gee also recorded 20 rushing yards and also made multiple tackles. The 10U Lady Knights flag football team fell to the Panthers, 24-0. Genesis Pluim, Willow Harris and Ella Huggins led the offense for the Lady Knights. Shonna Banks also caught a pass from Addie Powell. Cameron Evans, Taylor Cook and Dalacey Wilson were on defense.
