Kingston’s Fall Fair to be held Oct. 19; proceeds returned to community

Kingston Episcopal Parish will hold its annual Fall Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the parish house, 370 Main Street, Mathews.

The fair takes place rain or shine; all proceeds are given back to the community. A highlight of this year’s live auction will be a 2006 Dodge Dakota truck with a fiberglass bed cap.

Booths located inside the parish house are: Silent Auction, Et Cetera (housewares), Holiday Crafts and Gifts, Brunswick Stew (made on site) and Gourmet Delights (frozen meals for two, cookbooks and canned goods). In the Rectory is Classy Closet (gently used clothing), along with linens, toys and games.

In addition to the live auction, other outside activities include the Flea Market, Country Kitchen (homemade goodies), Lunch Counter (serving BBQ made on site, hot dogs, slaw and drinks) and Garden Path (plants donated by Mobjack Nurseries).
