Kevin Patrick Shorts, 57, of Gloucester, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester.

Kevin passed peacefully while surrounded by his wife, Sandra K. Lee; his son, Christopher P. Shorts; his father and stepmother, Jay and Nell Rector; his stepdaughter, Angelina Lee, Angelina’s husband Randy, and son Riley; his stepdaughter, Jenna Lee; his stepson, Christopher Lee, and his former spouse, Teresa Kaye. Kevin is also survived by his sisters, Lorie Kernel and Kathy Shorts, and his brother, David Shorts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Rector, and his brother, Paul Shorts.

In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, there will be a small, private service following his cremation.

Kevin’s family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
