KEVEN LEE SMITH

Keven Lee Smith, 49, of Gloucester, died unexpectedly Nov. 3, 2014.

Keven grew up in the Bena area of Gloucester and attended Gloucester High School where he loved playing football. Keven was a NASCAR racing enthusiast, loved drag racing, fast cars and big trucks. His passion was watching his son Matthew play football for Gloucester High School. Keven was also a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed, but always remembered.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Bernard Smith; two brothers, Tony Smith and Sammy Smith, and granddaughter, Aaliyah Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Anne Smith; sons, Matthew Smith, John Faris and Carl Faris; daughter, Katie Brooks; mother, Gloria F. Smith; six grandchildren, and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Arthur L. Wolz Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
