KERMIT MICHAEL EARL MILLER

Kermit Michael Earl Miller, 93, died Oct. 6, 2011 in Coronado, Cal.

He was a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Business Administration. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and NASA Langley as an aviator. While in the Navy he received the American Defense Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Kermit and his wife had lived in California since 1999. He loved politics, lived life to the fullest and his spirit of strength and determination will be an inspiration to all of us. We will miss our beloved husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne O. Miller; daughter, Elizabeth "Beth Ann" Ward and husband Brad; sons, Michael Miller and wife Diane and William "Bill" Miller and wife Deborah Kay; granddaughters, Leanne Marshall and husband Dave and Aimee Dunford and husband Jacob; brother, Harold N. Miller.

A Service of Christian Liturgy conducted by the Rev. James Cowles will be held 9 a.m. Friday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
