KENNETH WALTER SULLIVAN

Kenneth Walter Sullivan, 57, of Gloucester Point, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 31, 2013.

He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend to many; especially loving his four-legged friend Buford the Bassett. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and being an avid rider of his Harley, also known as “Lucy.”

He retired from Herbert Clements and Sons after being a HVAC Master Service Technician for over 32 years. Everyone who came into contact with Kenneth not only remembered him for his smile, laughter and the love he had for his family and friends, but for his honesty and kindness.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Teresa; his daughter, Suzanne; mother, Freida Sullivan; sisters, Linda Beringer and Dawn Bourne (Bill); brother, Kevin Sullivan; four nephews and one niece, all of whom he loved.

Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Arthur L. Wolz Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Gloucester Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the funeral home. In following Kenneth’s wishes, please dress in casual attire.

In Kenneth’s memory, contributions may be given to Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, P.O. Box 1130, Gloucester, Va. 23061 or the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic, P.O. Box 684, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
