Kathleen Nuttall Hardy, 81, of Hayes, born June 19, 1936, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017.

Kathleen was a member of Gloucester Point Baptist Church, and had been a member of Providence Baptist Church for many years, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and playing the piano.

She was retired from Eastern State Hospital. Kathleen had a loving heart and beautiful spirit. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olan and Josephine Nuttall.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Thomas W. Hardy; children, Chris Hardy, Angela Hardy, Darien Hardy and Stephanie Shackelford (Bill); grandchildren, Ashley Lauren Shackelford and Timmy Basil Demarco; two great-grandchildren, T.J. and Jay Demarco; sister, Joann Smith, and brother, William Nuttall (Linda).

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Bud Goude will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 15, 2017 at Gloucester Point Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 1-2 o’clock at the church.
