Katherine M. Hamilton, 90, of Gloucester, died Sept. 14, 2017 at Sanders Heron Cove.

She was born and grew up in Fredericksburg, graduating from Stafford High School Class of 1944. Katherine was retired from civil service in Personnel Management. She was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was kind and generous, and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Scott Hamilton Jr., and parents, Leo and Mary Musante. 

She is survived by many nieces and nephews including special nieces, Phyllis Oliver (Daniel), Michele Musante Lewandowski (Dave); nephews, Vern Musante (Jane), Jay Gould, Eric Gould and Larry Payne (Lorene); godchild, Anne Musante Sharp, and her loving and loved caregiver, Terry Osborne.

Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Dr. Douglas Nagel was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6470 Main Street, Gloucester. Interment was in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
