Katherine Jane Elizabeth Buck passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017, in her home in Springfield.

Katherine Jane was a devoted coach and teacher at Annandale High School for over 40 years, touching the hearts and shaping the lives of her students and players.  

Over her life she loved the water, sailing, traveling abroad, her cats and spending time with family and friends.

Katherine Jane requested to be cremated and ashes returned to her hometown in Gloucester. At a later date, there will be a memorial service at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Hayes, where she will be buried next to her beloved parents, Walter R. Buck Jr. and Sarah Mabel Willett Buck.
