Katherine Ann Parkinson, 83, of Saluda, went to be with the Lord Feb. 18, 2013.

Mrs. Parkinson was a native of New York and the widow of John H. Parkinson. She was a very unselfish and caring person.

She is survived by a son, James Parkinson and a daughter, Kathryn Shelton; two grandchildren, Steven Shelton and wife Liz, and Sarah Haydon and husband Emory; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Shelton; two brothers and two sisters.

A private inurnment will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, N.Y., at a later date.
