JV field hockey posts 6-0 shutout

Gloucester High School junior varsity field hockey players added another victory Tuesday with a six-goal shutout of the Warhill Lions. 

Avery Watkins, Kailee Morris and MacKenzie Wheeler each scored their first goals of the season. Alanna Womack, Lily Perger and Kamryn McDonough also scored. 

Alexis Cruz, Bayleigh Andersen, Perger and Watkins had two assists each, while Wheeler contributed one. Gloucester took 29 shots on goal, while not allowing the Lions any. The Dukes also earned 13 penalty corners without giving one to Warhill. 

The junior Dukes are scheduled to play Jamestown today at 5:30 p.m. and host Menchville on Tuesday. ...
