Justin Allen Hogan, 30, of Gloucester, left the world a dimmer place when he took his light to heaven on May 23, 2015.

An avid paintball player, Justin enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of playing paintball with good friends he considered brothers. Justin loved working as a tower climber, relishing the chance to touch the sky or dangle upside down for a photo.

Family and friends remember Justin’s crooked grin, forgiving spirit, sparkling soulful eyes, and great sense of humor. His newborn son was the light of his life.

Justin is survived by his parents, Randy and Bobbie Hogan, and sisters, Carrie Hogan Edmison (Jacob), Kellie Casey (Bryan), and Lindsay Blevins (Sim). Justin is also survived by his fiancée, Allison West, and his newborn son, Edward James Hogan. He will be dearly missed by his niece Lorelei and nephews, Gage, Linden, Finley, and Caden.

A memorial service and celebration of Justin’s life was held at the family home on May 30, 2015.
