June Lake of Mathews, lovingly known as Mom-Mom, age 90, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012.

She graduated in 1939 from West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lake.

She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Lake of Chase City, Va., Helen Inge (Ed) of West Point, Va., Carole Lake Gregg of Foster, Va., Teresa Murphy, SND, of Chase City, Va.; former son-in-law, Michael Gregg; seven grandchildren, Eddie Inge, Kimberly Smith (Todd), Steve Inge, Jennifer Patch, Daniel Gregg (Heather), James Gregg, Amy Christopher (Chase); 13 great-grandchildren, and all of her friends at the Church of Francis de Sales, in which she was a very active member.

The family received friends on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews.

A funeral mass was conducted on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Church of Francis de Sales, Mathews. Burial followed in Christ Church Cemetery, Mathews.
