A car wash and bake sale for the Special Olympics of Virginia will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 8 at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 3192 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes.

The fundraiser is being organized by 12-year-old Austin Whitaker, a student at St. Clare Walker Middle School, Locust Hill. All proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics.

In addition to hand car wash services, the event will also include refreshments and snacks available for purchase. Donations will also be accepted.
