Jump on the trendy wagon

Food trends for 2018 are being created daily by world-renowned chefs, trendy restaurants, food writers and culinary distributors. No two trends are exactly alike but all have one issue in common. They stress the necessity for a healthier life, helped by the use of more healthful foods in your menu plans.

Some of these suggestions are using turmeric as a flavor in food, thus eliminating salt. The chickpea and the bean, which have been rising choices for several years in the American diet, this year are going to become even more popular.

The United Nations dubbed 2016 as the International Year of Pulses (edible seeds such as dried peas, beans, lentils and chickpeas are most common). In this year of 2018 it is hoped that chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans, will rise to the top and become the most popular of all legumes.
