JULIO L. COLÓN

Julio L. Colón of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, and later Gloucester, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Dec. 28, 2017.

We want to celebrate the life of an extraordinary man and Christian, a loving husband and father, a good son, and a great brother and grandfather.

Julio was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Gloucester. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. Then he went on to work and later retire from Kratos Defense Security Solutions as well. He was a member of Middlesex Shooting Club and was an avid sporting clay shooter.

We will miss his smile and happy attitude towards life, his compassion and willingness to help others. We will cherish all the good times we shared with him, there is a plenty of them.

Our love for you will not fade. We will always have you in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Colón; daughter, Elaine Carol Colón; son, Nicholas Luis Colón; mother, Ana Colón, and brother, Jose Colón.
